Cloudburst in Dehradun’s Sahastradhara: 4 Dead, Shops Swept Away

A cloudburst hit the popular tourist spot Sahastradhara in Dehradun late Monday night, leading to heavy destruction. The sudden downpour caused flash floods that swept away several shops and left locals in shock.

Officials confirmed that four people lost their lives in the incident. At least two more are still missing, and search operations are ongoing.

Rescue and Relief

The district administration, SDRF, and NDRF teams reached the spot quickly and started rescue work. Many people, including tourists, were shifted to safe places. Relief camps have been set up, and food, water, and medical help are being provided.
